Giving Up Smoking
So you want to give up smoking. The first thing to know is you’re not actually addicted. Smoking is not an addiction. It’s a habit. And hypnotherapy is the best way of changing well-entrenched habits and then creating new, positive and healthy ones in its place. A habit after all, is just the brains continued use of a specific super-highway of neurological connections. And as it’s a super-highway, it’s the easiest and most convenient route for current to flow. So we need to re-route those connections so that that one becomes the easiest route for current to flow, which forms a new habit and so the thing you now do is Not Smoke.
It also makes the thought of smoking absolutely repellent, as well as accessing the part of the brain that puts you in control of your decision making. Which, as you can imagine, has enormous knock-on benefits for other parts of your life.
I spread the hypnosis over four sessions. The Initial Consultation, followed by three, one-hour sessions of hypnosis. And after the forth session that cigarette you left on your car dashboard, in preparation for your return journey won’t get smoked by you. You’ll either throw it away or give it to someone else to smoke. Because by then you’ll find that you no longer smoke. The thought of smoking disgusts you. And you’re now a non-smoker.
